I used to play a fair bit on trekshare until I found flickr. I liked how trekshare really focuses on travel related photography, though I've found flickr's interface much more sophisticated and easy to use to organize and uploading photos. It's a big pain when frineds send their travel photos and slideshows from a website that requires signing in, confirmation emails and then tons of spam down the road. Ophoto is like this, as are many others.
